A minor hiatus…

Hello!

I decided to finally make myself this website back in January hoping I would have time to start using it as an actual blog. Alas, it turns out I was still recovering from the many life events I experienced in 2021. Let me tell you, finishing a dissertation, NIH F32 application, getting engaged, minor surgery, moving to a new city, and starting a new job in the span of a month and a half is not for the faint of heart. Adjusting to my new life as a post doc, coupled with wedding planning during the chaos that has been the COVID-19 pandemic made it much more difficult to commit the time I needed to this website. 10/10 would not recommend doing all of this at the same time!

So here is a post to say that I plan to utilize this website more consistently now that I am three (!!) months married. I’ll end this with a series of wedding photos because, well, why not!
